Emma Banks is a redshirt freshman pitcher for McNeese State University, a powerhouse program in the Southland Conference. Originally from Stuttgart, Arkansas, Banks joined the Cowgirls after a dominant high school career that included over 250 strikeouts, multiple All-State honors, and selection to the All-Arkansas Prep Softball Team.
She entered the McNeese program with a perfect 4.0 GPA and the competitive edge that made her a standout in both the classroom and the circle. After redshirting in 2024 to develop under one of the top staffs in the region, she made her collegiate debut in 2025, contributing to McNeese’s fourth consecutive conference title run.
As an EA Softball mentor, Emma brings firsthand experience of what it takes to succeed in a high-level Division I environment. Her transition from elite high school pitcher to a contributor on one of the nation’s most consistent programs gives her unique insight into player development, mental toughness, and the value of patience in growth.
